Susan has 20 years of experience developing strategies that balance the impact of 24/7 digital connectivity. In 1997 Susan founded ABC Legacy which is committed to helping people power down from their devices, learn technology awareness, and use mindfulness practices to minimize digital distractions for professional, academic, athletic and personal success. Her work is based in the belief that reducing screen time and integrating mindful practices with a healthy use of technology will help children and adults focus and thrive in the age of digital distraction. Susan researches, writes, teaches and speaks on the current issues with technology, seeking solutions to the increasingly fast-paced and distractible nature of digital devices and social media. She consults to schools, companies and families, different presentations, programs and consulting models including mindful test preparation and an assessment of family technology use. Susan graduated from Dartmouth College and has an M.Ed from Tufts University.
Nancy has over ten years of entrepreneurial and grassroots start-up experience. She held the position of Director of Marketing with the Boston Blazers, a start-up men’s professional lacrosse franchise that played at the TD Garden. Nancy owned Smiling Sauce, and all natural food company that sold refrigerated sauces in stores all over New England and NYC. Nancy was most recently Director of Partnerships at Isabella Products where she launched pilots to test efficacy of a children’s tablet in Boston and NYC public schools. Prior to business, Nancy spent ten years as a middle school science teacher and high school lacrosse coach. She ran peer leadership trainings and participated on science curriculum councils where she wrote curriculum and advised on MCAS development for the state of Massachusetts.Nancy graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, MA and has an MBA from Northeastern Univeristy.
Lauree has an MBA from Babson College and is an accomplished senior executive with over 25 years of experience growing businesses or segments within companies. A proven track record of successful business building including finding the most direct path to market with follow through from conception to completion. Lauree has broad experience establishing cross-functional strategic partnerships to develop, finance, launch, market and grow a global product or service. Accountable for multi-million dollar budgets and allocating resources to exceed profit and sales goals, Lauree is particularly adept at negotiating, streamlining, reorganizing and leading teams productively.
Briana has a BA in psychology with a minor in business and marketing from Leslie University. Briana has three years of experience writing and promoting curriculum, blogs and articles for online wellness magazines and non-profit organizations. Her passion for children and young adults and promoting mindfulness through hands-on and online chanels has led her to pursue an MS in Mental Health Counseling from UMASS.
Ann has a Masters degree in Educational Psychology. She taught middle school and was an educational consultant for more than 15 years helping students find appropriate learning environments. She shifted her consulting work to the college level to help students find the best college fit, strategize possible careers, and assisted in helping students, “find their worthiness”. Ann sits on a number of boards including Holy Names where she has learned all about how the inside of a college works. Ann is also active on the UC Botanical Garden Advisory board, plays golf, and enjoys spending time travelling with her husband, children and grandchildren.
